A striking large scale design (two over repeat) of circular patchwork motifs woven on a silk satin ground of a type more usually associated with classical damask. The circular motifs feature stylised interpretations of Japanese stencil and shibori designs. CHISEN means 'pond' in Japanese.Colourways (Not all colourways shown)
