Byron F5715
George Gordon Byron, 6th Baron Byron (1788-1824) is famed as much for his tempestuous love life as for his Romantic narrative poems such as Childe Harold's Pilgrimage and Don Juan. He spent much of his life abroad including, famously, in Venice and died in Greece while preparing to fight for Greek independence. The design is a large silhouette trail of fern foliage woven with a strié ombré warp. Colourways are magenta, red, ivory, olive and aqua all on a linen ground. Suitable for drapery and domestic upholstery.Colourways
