CALISTA F5505
Meaning 'most beautiful', CALISTA is a bold design featuring stylised daisy heads on a textured cotton/linen ground. The colourways are cinnamon and black, scarlet and orange, soft pink and mole, and lime green and aqua. Daisies were popular in Persia with the flowers of the painted daisy (Tanacetum coccineum) being used to help reduce typhoid epidemics. It was also said that drinking crushed daisies steeped in wine in small doses over fifteen days would cure insanity!Colourways
